About

In 2021, Shameka Jones founded GOOD AESTHETIC GALLERY, a nomadic gallery based in Delaware dedicated to connecting local artists with creative spaces and new audiences. Her passion for art has led her to gain hands-on experience across multiple sectors of the industry.

Jones co-curated Straight Lick, an online group exhibition led by Ebony L. Haynes, contributed to Art She Says, a platform supporting women in the arts, and held a conversation apprenticeship with Kenneth M. Milton. She also served as an appraisal assistant to Robert J. Koenke and has since appraised notable collections for both public institutions and private collectors.

Locally, Jones has judged for the Mispillion Art League 20th Annual Judged & Juried show, served on the exhibitions committee of the Rehoboth Art League, and participated in the Delaware Arts Alliance focus group supporting the CREATE Plan for a stronger creative economy.

With deep industry knowledge and a commitment to ongoing learning, Jones offers clients a holistic perspective on the art market, helping them navigate their next steps with clarity, strategy, and confidence.
